Filip acquired his professional expertise not only in international and local law firms, but also directly in commercial corporations. He focuses primarily on real estate law, including housing issues, civil law, and labour law. He also represents clients in civil litigation, including arbitration. Filip also studied political science and international relations, which naturally led to his primary focus on immigration law with an emphasis on asylum law and human rights issues in general. He is the vice-chairman of the Association of Immigration Lawyers in the Czech Republic.
